The paintings are a selection taken from an ongoing seascape series which are inspired from the Sussex Downs and coast line. Topgraphy plays a large part in the work. The processes used are very organic, allowing formations to develop in the painting intuitively.

The textures are created in the initial layer using white acrylic paint and then colour is applied using a cloth and oils, creating a type of burnishing effect.
